When I bought my 1930 Hudson Super 8, it came with a fair bit of literature. One of which is a number of pages, 195-204. I've added a photo of the first page. The rest of the pages only have "Hudson 1925-1930 Inclusive" across the top of the page. It appears to be one chapter of a manual on engine tune up. I'm wondering if the rest of the book is available somewhere?
I have the on-line service manual from hudsonterraplane.com " 1930-38 Service operations Manual" which is very redundant wording from page to page with no illustrations or pictures and with very little information on any particular topic. I find it hard to believe that it is the actual service manual. I'm used to the format shown in the picture that I have added.
I found an online pdf file "online library index" and I see one called "1930-1933 Hudson 8 Service Operations Manual" maybe that's a typical service manual that I need?
So yes, I'm looking for the rest of the manual to the photo I added. But I'm also looking for a complete 1930 Hudson 8 service manual. Thanks for any insight you might have.

I'm sure we've done this before - but - can someone suggest a good resource for information on the various Terraplane models? I have a 1934 Terraplane K coupe ("Special") and I know about the KU ("Major"/deluxe with long wheelbase) and the KS ("Challenger"/'trimmed down economy model/no vent quarter windows).
I just got the new HET roster and of course looked for the 34T coupes. I see four 1934 K Special coupes listed, as well as the Challenger KS coupes, and the 34 KUs (no KU coupes in the club, apparently). But I also see listed an "RS coupe" - presumably meaning a K coupe with rumble seat), and a 1934 "Standard 6 K" coupe (apparently listed under the engine number 71329) - both of those should have just been listed as 34T K coupes, right? Then another 5 coupes listed just under "1934 Terraplane" - presumably because people are unfamiliar with the models. Also 2 cars with just serial numbers under "1934 Terraplane." Seems like we could clean this up for 1934, and no doubt other years, with a little more information.
Tell me if I'm wrong; if you have a 1934 Terraplane coupe, measure the wheelbase and if it is 116", then you have a KU Major (deluxe); if it is 112" wheelbase and has side vent quarter windows, then you have a K Special; no vent windows, then it is a KS Challenger. There were only the 3 models, right?

Did Thompson Manuals have a section on the 1937 Hudson & Terraplane models? Every edition I’ve read so far, 1936 and 1938 models were included but nothing on 1937. Either all those pages have been removed from the six sets reviewed or Thompson thought the 1937’s were not worth the effort to reprint information from what ever source they used back then.
