I'm assuming that you just try to get the little red ball to the same height on both carbs which would indicate they are both at the same throttle opening on idle. I dunno. Ken I checked out your site but all I could find was a reference to using one not how to use it....can't be rocket surgery.0

Jim, if you have never used one before this site on balancing Corvair carbs will get you a good flavor for what you need to do.

By the way I took my wasp out for a drive for the first time this year and what a pleasure it was. I certainly don't for a second regret installing the 308 and hydro tranny . I had to tap the rear carb bowl with a wrench after I started it though as she was overflowing...tapping it closed the needle. Wierd as it has done that this year a couple of times now.. its obviously sticking but why I don't know...I rebuilt those carbs last summer.
I took my GPS along to check the accuracy of the speedometer and luckily its just about right on so no worrys there.0 -
Jim, see Bill Craig's ad in the WTN classifieds for his super-duper ball type float valve which (it's said and hoped) will eliminate that very common needle valve sticking problem. I've got a pair for my Hornet but haven't installed them yet. Bill's e-mail hetscraig10@juno.com (remove "het" for actual e-mail address).0
