Are the Ohm characteristics of the stepdown in tank sender the same as a Ford?

    Close enough that by bending the float rod I was able to get a pretty good gauge reading for both full and empty. Have not checked the actual resistance on the Ford unit. Did check an old stepdown sender once. Will see if I can find the value. Walt-LA
