Hudson Eight Engine Color

I did my 40 this way. Not original but I think it looks nice.0

It should be silver, ergo authentic, & with the engine accessories black, gives good definition color-wise.0

Dupli-color 500 degree engine paint, in "Aluminum" color, is an excellent match for the original silver, and good quality stuff. Get from most any auto parts store.0

Dear Sheldon,
As the owner of an 8 cylinder Hudson, I can save you a lot of pain and sorrow. The color selection is important, but the application is critical.
One must know the secret, passed down through the years, from one straight eight mechanic to another.
To begin with, you must not tape anything off such as headlights, electrical wires, or accessories of any kind. Only this way will the paint have the proper patina.
To begin, start waving the spray bomb above your head while spinning in circles, and at the same time start shouting the following magic words like you have Turrets Syndrome. Electric Hand! and Automatic Clutch! Quickly followed by Babbitt!
Only this way will you get the proper over spray on the windshields. I will look you up at the Nationals and you can thank me then.:eek:0
