    Don't have an answer JIM but I have some of the old wire that I never intend to use if anyone wants it Not sure of the size, I'd have to find it and look . BUD

    Jim, I've got factory production line photos that show they were black in 1936 (contrary to what some sources say). I doubt they would have gone to colored fabric covering later, so I'd go with black.
