How was Doc's ....... Wish I could have been there.... Any Pics ?

    Attendance was a little sparse, partly because several of the "regulars" went to the Hudson Homecoming event in Shipshewana, Indiana. Total persons were about 85, and only a dozen or so cars. As low attendance as there's been in recent times, I think. Hopefully next year the conflict in events won't occur and we can get back to a good strong meet at Doc's.

    I want to point out that the '39 woodie was DRIVEN not trailered, to Virginia from Canada, by Hedley and Pattie Bennett. At speeds of 65-75 mph, no less! As far as I know every one of these vehicles was driven, as a matter of fact.

    By the way, the week-late date of Doc's Meet (which caused us to "crash" into the Hudson Homecoming in Shipshewana) was a fluke, due to some problems with the local Fire Hall scheduling person. Thanks to the Prez. of our local Hudson club, we have now booked the Fire Hall for Mother's Day for the next three years!! So, plan to travel to beautiful Front Royal in 2010, and we'll plan a much larger turnout!

    Whooops!!!! Jon, you might want to re-think that line. Somebody might be thinking of trailering their beauty next year - and after reading that line decide not!!!! :D
