I picked up an all original 53superwasp coupe this past weekend and got it running after at least twenty five years of storage.cleaned out the carb, filed the points,a little gas and pow she was running, smoked up the whole neighborhood for about hour then she cleaned and no smoke.another 262 tearing up the road.next comes brakes and a new radiator core, belt and hoses. Superwasp.

I had that same experience. Several months ago I bought a 54 Hornet Special with the Twin H. Seller said it "hadn't run in years but would turn over". New plugs, different distributor, some cold starting fluid, the right combination of cuss words, and off it went and it ran pretty good. Boy was that fun. Enjoy.
