    The paint on the raised letters on the engine looks sharp- is that "stock"?

    The raised letters were "stock" but I don't think the factory painted 'em red! It does look like the car has the scarce, original metal battery cover (black, foreground) which most owners found to be a pain, and disposed of!

    I'm right there with you. Aside from the '52's, the '36 and '37 Cpe. & Conv. rank right up there for me.
