I don't know about the DMV in the state where you live, but make sure that they do not want to look at the serial number on the front frame rail (or make that serial number agree with what you are going to have on the door post). You have probably already thought of this, but I just wanted to make sure.

Best of luck with your project, Russell You certainly do fantastic work!!

Just where does one look for the serial # on the front frame rail mdwhit ?

I wasn't aware there was one there.

    Silverone-

On top of the frame rail, right behind the front wheel, passenger side. Don't let the bodyman sand it off.

Hi Russel, I know what you have been giong through, just keep going and it does come to a end and the feeling of acheivement is overwelming, I have been going through the process for about 26-27 years now and just fire up the engine, with glass and upolstery to go, now I cant wait to drive

the work you have been doing to date is superb, just wish I had learnt the art of panelbeating.

Thanks, Wes. I've been enjoying the pics of your progress as well. I should be to that stage in the very near future.
