convoys to the National Meet?

I'd like to report to our local Chapter newsletter, all convoys headed to the National Meet, which might be passing through Virginia or Maryland (or even passing through southern Pennsylvania).

If you're part of such a convoy and wouldn't mind taking on a carload or two, could you please let me know your route and which day(s) you'll be traveling? (Both to, and from, Detroit.)

I thought there was supposed to be some convoy rendevous points published in the WTN for the lower 48 I remember something being mentioned about it. Waht happened to that ?

I'll probably be making the transition from 40 to 55 just west of Memphis, if I remember right.

I thought the same and I have been looking for the sites to be published.

1 Kiwi T8 is on the ship & swimming over as we speak. It's an expensive way to get articles for the Club mag tho!!!

I know there is a convoy starting from Kingman, Az. - they've posted, at least in the Grand Canyon Chapter publication, their various stops going across the country.

I am told that there will be more on the convoys in the next WTN. Meanwhile, I am trying to pull together a map showing all the convoys. We shall see how successful I am! (don't hold your collective breaths...)

I can hardly wait to see the '33 T8 from N. Z. !!!!

I think Buzz is going to trailer the '20 Hudson tr. limo. from So. Cal.

I'm going to leave the 12th & "haul ass" on the interstates to arrive Wed., wife will fly to Detroit earlier, then we'll do a leisurely no interstate return via Badlands, Deadwood, maybe Gateway auto museum, Moab,

Bryce & Zion, then home.

What is the body style of the T8 that is on its way here? Just curious, for I love 'em all!

Not 100% sure , but I think it is a 1934 T, that is what I have heard here in Australia anyway, we'll have to wait and see. What ever, he deserves a medal for shipping it there and back.
