i need a bit of help with some part numbers on my 53 super wasp

1. radiator hose numbers and a supplier top and bottom

2. modern universal numbers on drive shaft (3)

3. am missing the top hold down battery cover and was wondering if some one would be able to post a picture. it seems to me that it was made of light metal and was bolted down with long rods from the bottom plate?

4. coil springs are there replacements readly available.

any help would be appreciated

    Here are some part numbers.



    1. You can use these numbers for 1948 - 1954. Upper: Cut to length (All). Gates 21794 or NAPA NBH 8484, Gates 21660 or NAPA NBH 7096 (This is a '48 Chevy lower radiator hose).



    For the lower radiator hose with the steel tube, try Gates 24224 or NAPA NBH 632.



    2. U-joint: NAPA 2100153 or Precision 369. Same as 55 to 71 CHEVY Exc

    Turbo Hydro.



    4. Coil Spring Specialities in Kansas will build you a set.

    thanks mars 55 for info well appreciated. now if i had a picture of battery box top i would be all set.
