Very nice 1931 Super eight coupe
Saw this on Hemmings.com

A very nice appearing rumble seat coupe, listed by a dealer (Lone Star Collections) in Texarkana, TX for $22.5, which seems low if the vehicle is as represented.
Does anyone know more about this car, and if the price is realistic?

That would be a fantastic deal if it is as described. Would love to know more about the owner from 1957-2007. It has a crank hole cover too!0

Agree - that price is about what a restored model A of the same vintage would go for.
By the way, does anyone know what that extra shift lever (it's straight up and down with a mushroom knob) is for?0 -
Its for the free wheeler. You engage it to roll down hills and such to save gas.0

This coupe has been for sale by the owner in Tyler, TX for about a year or more. He was asking asking around $18K for it, didn't have any luck, and evidently sold it to this dealer or consigned it to be sold. Looks pretty good but radiator screen is not correct( expanded metal chromed instead of the woven chrome screen), door and window handles not correct, bumper medallions not correct, and crank hole cover doesn't appear to be correct either. Underhood oil can and holder missing also.
Don't know about the mechanical condition but looks good. Price seems a liitle on high side, wire wheels would be a plus........
