stepdown hand brake rebuild
I have the hand brake apparatus out of the car and have freed it up but the ratcheting mechanism does not seem to be working right, it doesn't hold against tension. I read in the mech. manual that the springs in the mechanism can wear out. Has anyone repaired one of these or do I need to find a working unit? Thnaks.
