Gasket stack-- fuel pump 46 8-cylinder

Is there a standard dimension for the thickness of the fuel pump gasket stack for a 1946 8-holer?



I bought a new gasket stack from Walt Mordenti and it is not as thick as the stack I want to replace--it's about 2/3rds the thickness of the old one.



I'd ask Uncle Walt but I think he is "on the road".

    What is the thickness of your original stack? My eight has 3 thin cardboard gaskets. Maybe I shouldn't run it like that...
