Anyone going to drive their Hudsons in a parade on the 4th?

Bob Ross has invited me to join him out here for Sierra Madre's parade.

    Nope. I've driven the

Red/Maroon Commadore with a 'Driving Miss Daisy Crazy' sign in the window, the Hornet with Doc's eyes and the Truck the last 3 years and I'm gonna sit this one out and watch with the fambly.

Next year I'll drive the newly restored (hopefully by then) 40 Eight Coupe. I may tow it the 2 miles to our show this weekend and fire it up once in a while.

Although, after our 2pm parade is over, we may go to the Speculator parade with the Hornet at 5 pm.

No parade, but we've got a car show as part of the festivites on the Historic Plaza, which includes a pancake brekky for thousands. I'll be there with the '40, only prob...have to have the car in place by 5:30 a.m....

5:30 am - at my age, and because I don't have to go any place, I'm usually awake at 5:30, but just lying there trying to decide if it's really worth getting up!!! :D

The 4th of July will be yet another Wedding that the 37CTS will be a part of. Since 1950 its been in several processions.

Since its clean will go to a Car Show on Sunday afternoon the 5th.

I am going to drive mine to a friends for a BBQ 50 miles away. Does that count? It 's a beautiful day here and what a time to get the old boy out so everyone can see it. Took it to a cruise in last night with another Hudson member and his 47. As usual it gets more attention than almost anything there, especially when the hood is up, but never wins anything. Those awards are all reserved for the Chevy's :(

We put 52 Hornet in local parade with 50,000 spectators. We displayed 4 of our other Hudsons in front of our garage for them to see on way to parade. :)

    Dave,

I love that picture in front of your garage. Looks like it belongs somewhere on Route 66!
