anyone know what exact paint color Doc Hudson is?

Just curious. I had heard that pixar used an original factory color chip to create Doc Hudson. Was it Rivard blue? Lagoon blue?Legion blue?

    Thanks for posting that link. I looked at the build sequence- why in the world didn't they just start with a coupe, instead of going through all those gyrations of combining a hardtop and 4 door sedan into a coupe? Very strange. . .

    I spoke with the owner of Gunner racing soon after the movie was announced. My selfish reason was to ID if they were making molds or how they intended to rebody the chassis. Turns out the whole project was done as a splash and the body actually did not matter. The builders were told to find a Hudson to create the body pieces. The availablity of a coupe at a reasonable price was a non starter. Some of this information is on the website.
