This link was posted over at the Studebaker forum, but it appears there were at least 2 maybe 3 Hudsons there (only one Stude I could find), in this Swedish American car show. Check out the '46 4 dr drag car!

Those pictures take me back 40 years to the type of cars and fun gatherings I remember. What a nice set of pictures... and I bet a great time!!!

Sure looks like it could be "anywhere America" thirty-forty years ago if it weren't for the licence plates. I like the informal aura, the grass display areas, and the "pitch your tent behind your car" and stay the weekend format. Late evenings and early mornings must be quite the social time before the crowds gather for the day.

Is that a detroit diesel in that black '55 Chevy ??

That green bug is somethin'else !! How the heck would you get in there, and actually attempt to drive that ?? I'll bet you'd have one mother of a "crick in the neck" after a few miles behind the wheel in that !!

Did you notice one very, very strange thing about those photos - this is in Sweden, and there aren't very many European cars in attendance. I'd say a good 98% are American iron.

Well, now we know where old American cars go!!!! :D
