52 wasp doors
I have recently brought home a 52 4 door wasp that I purchased almost ten years ago, (now that I have a garage...) The driver side doors are both quite rusted, so I am on the hunt for two new doors. There is a 49 commodore not TOO far away, does anyone know if these doors would be compatible? If I can't find doors for the wasp there is another commodore which in photos seems to be in better shape than my wasp, and I may pick it up instead of wasting time on the wasp. Does anyone have any ideas where I could find two driver side doors, or if the Commodore doors will be compatible?
Thanks for any help.
Cheers,
Brock

Brock where are you located? Jim Guinn in Texas (904-389-8997)has several parts cars that might be ideal for your needs... possibly better restoration candidate?0

Commodore doors will fit your 52 Wasp 4DR, assuming that the Commodore is also a 4DR (which you didn't mention). The difference between the "Senior" cars (Hornet, Commodore, Supers) and the "Junior" cars (Pacemaker and Wasp), is longer wheelbase vs. shorter wheelbase and the difference is in the front clip ahead of the firewall, therefore, doors and quarters are interchangeable, going from one similar body style to another, of course. Front fenders, and hoods are not interchangeable between the SWB's and the LWB's, however.0

Thanks for the info, yes, the Commodore is also a four door. Unfortunately I am long way from Texas - Edmonton Alberta... Hudsons and parts seem to be hard to come by in the north country. I am debating picking up the more complete commodore and using my current wasp for parts. I hate to give up on the wasp though, I am sure in the right hands it could be great. If there is anyone near here who can help I could certainly use a little perspective!
