Well, I don't design websites, so the next best thing is we started a BLOG on the restoration of the convertible. If interested, click on link below my signature. It 's not up-to-date yet, but now that I've figured it out, I'll get caught up in short order.

Keep plugging - you got 11 months to get it ready for Seattle. LOL

Yeah, why don't you move here. You can stay with us!

Trust me, I'm plugging as fast as time and $$$ will allow. I'd love to have it done for Spokane next year. There's LOTS of other stuff done, as well, that I haven't posted yet. Top irons are halfway in primer. I'm currently trying to get the other half in shape so they can be painted along with the other silver parts (like rockers). The header for the top irons was finished leaded and sanded and primed today.

Wheels are ready, front suspension is completed and ready for final assembly. Engine goes to the machine shop sometime in the next two weeks. I'm really kinda behind on the rest of the bodywork, but that's right around the corner, as well. Most of the stainless and chrome plating is completed . . . and on it goes!:D Fun, fun, fun.
  • Russell, you beat me to it, I just finished viewing Vicki & your blog on FORUM and received your email before I could post favorable comment...I think it's just great in what you and your wife are undertaking with restoration and I love to learn, read, see pictures of progress success stories...I only wish I had your creative talent, skills and patience which don't go unnotice; I read enjoy all your comments/posts on the FORUM...I think with people like your good self, Rambo and some other's, Hudson Motor Car Company could make much needed come back manufacturing this fine automobile line. Thanks again with parts you provide to help with my completion of coupe, hopefully I'll have car completed last week of October and attend Hudson meet in Laughlin, Nevada...Note I tried posting message directly to your new blog, but expereinced difficulties?

Take care, stay healthy and continue good luck with restoration.

Too bad you're not closer to me!

Of course if I don't find some work soon I'll bee looking for a place to live when the bank kicks me out of my house

Maybe a "live in" bodyman who knows computers?

Come on, Dan! My shop isn't as nice as yours, but I have plans on building a new addition that will do all the things I want to do.

And don't bury yourself in a corner. If a move is in order, I'll help any way I can, you can even work for me for a while till you get set-up. Need to, call me and we can talk. I'm always just a phone call away from friends.
  • Dan,

I'm from Oregon originally I was wondering if we had ever met before I moved to San Antonio.

Jim Harmon and I did a lot of Hud'n in Banks, guess you probably know him. Sure would be nice to have another Hudnut from the great Northwest out here.

    Ya'll come!
