    Bob,

The fact that you can post on your laptop says that your account here is fine. It sounds like you have a security setting or a caching issue on your desktop, and while we would love to help you....there are just some things out of our reach.

My advice is to download the latest version of your favorite web browser, we recommend either FireFox or Safari. Or, try clearing your browser cache. I am not a Microsoft hater, but IE, regardless of version is a major pain and its slow. For those that are just viewing with their browsers, Safari is the fastest and cleanest browser I have used thus far. FireFox users, make sure you are using the latest release, early versions of 3.5 are buggy. Make sure you have 3.5.2 or later. For IE 7/8 users, my sympathy.

With our offline discussions you know my feelings about the new IE browser as well - , but you can't run a publicly available website and tell users with IE browsers "my sympathy" - not only will you alienate diehard IE users, you'll harm your sponsors abilitly to get facetime as well.

Like it or not IE8/7 still own a significant browser market share and you need to cover them as well IMHO.

Thanks to you and the staff for all the hard work, so far - things are coming around!

    Tom,
Any thoughts or view/opinion about 'Chrome' (Google's browser)?

That's what I'm currently using and can't post pics.

I think my point is that these users are at the mercy of MS to correct the bugs in IE8. IE8 crashes on us all the time and regardless of what we do here, that is not going to fix what most people consider a very flawed product. http://idreamincode.co.uk/ie8-bugs

Not that the other browsers don't have issues, its just the MS has always bucked the tide and gone against meeting established standards for Internet Publishing & Viewing. We cannot be their support crew for IE users. We spend a lot of time writing extra code in an attempt to make it work, which is unfair to publishers, considering other browsers don't require it. We are not the ones alienating IE users, Microsoft is doing that on their own.

    Tom,

I have loaded Chrome and looked at it.....at the same time unloaded it. I am sure some people enjoy using it. From a user point of view, while Chrome is out in a final version, it appears and operates like a beta product. (Buggy)

Time will tell, its really too new to have a solid opinion on the product. I think FireFox or IE are better products as this time, but Chrome is growing in use by leaps and bounds....so it may be a leader in the next year or so.

Personally, I see Safari as a better product than Chrome at this time, but it does not enjoy the same popularity as Chrome does now, which to me, is not as refined as Safari.
