If you can, find a copy of the Henry Rasmussen book entitled Decade of Dazzle. The car on the cover appears to be this one or a close relative. A close up pic of it in the forward shows a really tired car.0 -
I hate to pick it apart but what the hey...
Wrong engine color ('54 or up, unless they painted it wrong)
Wrong Air Filters (looks like a Wasp one in back)
Can't tell a whole lot from the pictures but it sure would have been nice to see if it had backup lights. I doubt it.

Pretty sure this came out of the Astor collection, the same one that the Barrit limo came out of. I saw it in person. It sold for about the same price which was sixty ish. More than double what I think it is worth. Nice solid car with wrong interior, etc. I'd consider it a high # 3 car .0
