Hudson steering pin issue
Hi!
ive started checking the front suspension in my 52 Hornet , and found out that the steering pin simply needs replacement.
The thing is not that simple , as the original one was a thrust bearing housing. a bearing that would fit to the hole is easy to get (ball thrust bearing) , but im affraid it might be not as strong as the original one .. anyone faced such a problem ? how to repair a worn swivel(king) pin ?
Thanks
Michael

Michael: The repair for the king pin wear is to replace the pin with a kit that includes the pin and bearings. These kits are available from time to time on eBay or from Dale Cooper: the following is from his on-line catalog KING PIN SET 1940-54 ALL EXC JET $160
Dale's website is at this URL: www.hudsonmotorcarco.com
