Don't forget to get your member number from the WTN!
Before you throw out the wrapper on your latest WTN, don't forget to note the membership number on the label (it's just under your membship expiration date).
This is needed, if you wish to get a password to enter the "members only" section of the new H-E-T Club website (http://www.hetclub.org/)
Many people never know their membership number and when they need it, the WTN wrapper is long gone!

This section in the hetclub.org site seems to be not used. There are a total of 2 things to do.
1. Look at the 3 classified ads (same ads since it started over 6 months ago.
2. Look up the registries.
There is nothing there is my point. Will there ever be more in this area?

Jon,
Who is the keeper of this number?

Top answer the first question, the H-E-T site is new and thus we're really starting from scratch. Until a critical mass of members starts to use the "members only" section, we won't have a lot of contributions to the "classified ads". As I understand it Terry Ray volunteered to get it up and running (he's the one who assigns the password, to answer the second question) and Aaron Cooper -- who's just back from serving in Afghanistan -- is going to be working to make the site fully functional. I'm sure he can use whatever volunteer help is out there.
The actual number comes from our membership lists, kept by our membership chairperson.0 -
All, I just wanted to let everyone know that we have rolled out a new hetclub.org website. The domains are still updating but it looks like hetclub.com goes to the new site. Check it out!
Jon is still correct though. To log into the registered member portion of the site you will need your member id as the username, and the your last name (case sensitive). Read the note at the bottom of the page. Use the website forum on the site to tell us what you think. This site will be updated frequently because everyone who maintains information (events, classifieds, etc.) can update it themselves. We are still working on some pieces, but this site will just get better and better.0
