Last Sunday my '50C8 represented the automotive's finest. Out of 600+ cars I had the only Hudson, but there was one '38 Terraplane! My car was featured in the parade with notation of Hudson celebrating 100 years. The picture below was taken as we rolled in. My Dad, 74 was in the passenger's seat and looks like one of the ZZ Top guys the way the picture came out. He does play Santa at Christmas time so that is his real beard.

Sure is a pretty car, Dan. My Dad does the same thing. He tools around in his '32 Ford Roadster with a Santa Hat on. With his big white beard, it makes quite a sight!

Thanks for the compliment. It looks better in the picture than it is. It has mostly original paint and the old lacquer has cracks and spots, but NO Rust, and for a car from souther Jersey that is a miracle. There are some scratches along the bottom on both sides where the old guy that was the original owner scrapped it going in and out of the tiny garage were he kept it. But it does look good to me anyway. The interior is all original, except for the carpet. Rides like a new car with only 36K miles. The H8 is a nice quiet performer.

I do not have a picture on my forum. Do you folks have an upgrade that I do not have?

I was looking at the site from my office computer. Now I know why this has happened to me a time or two before. Good thing that I am retiring next week...
  • Brownie, same reason I know the answer to your dilema... I changed the coding on my website to assure viewing when our ...can't view it crowd... started blocking it. The most interesting thing about all this ... they continue to allow INTERNET access... they just monitor it all day long... a growth industry for sure.
