Does 54 Hornet Front end fit 52 Hornet
I have access to a 54 Hornet parts car. I want to remove the front suspension and put it on my 52 Hornet. Are the front suspensions the same (A-arms, King pins, drums, etc.) on a 54 Hornet and 52 Hornet? Or do I need to stay with the a particular year? Thank you!! Bill

Bill, You won't have any trouble getting the parts you need from your 54 front end onto your 52. The vast majority of long wheelbase 48-54 cars have front end parts that will interchange. When you get into 54 onto 52 body parts...well thats a different story.0

How are the upper door hinges on the '54 (front door if sedan)?0 -
Doug, They really are pretty much the same. The big difference is that you really need to do yourself a favor and get a slightly larger diameter hinge pin. Bore the hole and save a door sag headache. The weak point is that 2 doors will have a sag problem with the old pins. They will work fine with 4 door cars due to the size difference in the doors but the 2 door cars are killers on the OEM Hudson hinge pins. The bigger diameter hinge pin will really help your two door.0
