Question on torque settings

I have a "Hudson Shop Service Manual" for my 54 Sedan that includes a whole page of torque settings. However, there seems to be some items missing. For example, I just reinstalled the front springs and there is no torque setting for securing the lower support arm. Is there just a rule of thumb on this or what?



Being a newbie I admittedly I get lost in some of the terminology. There is a line item that reads "Front Frame Anchor Bracket Bolt". What is that?

    Since torque values are not given, you can use values given in the chart in this link. The one you want is at the bottom of the page.

    Torque the bolts to 110 foot pounds. Make sure you have the original Hudson bolts and not some soft replacement bolt and nut. Walt.
