Hello all. I have most of the body (Only) of a Hudson Essex RS Coupe. No frame, no motor, nothing but the shell. There is a tag on the firewall with the number 993173. Can someone tell me what year it is from that number please? :) Perley

    This would indicate a 1929 Essex, "first series". (That's helpful to know, since sometimes they changed certain components mid-stream during the year, and so designated the post-change cars the "second series".)
