Looking for Steering Wheel and Pork Chops
Hello all,
I'm looking for a set of NOS or repro porkchops for a 52 Hornet. Also looking for an excellent to mint condition Maroon steering wheel for the same. My e-mail is hetnptelcel@aol.com (drop the het) or PM me.
Thanks, Niels

Niels- Can't help with the steering wheel right now, but as far as the pork chops go, I've got Steve Traudt making me a set as he is now re-popping these. He's in the Roster (from Texas, but living in Shelbyville, IN, now). I believe there are two sets ahead of me. Give him a call and tell him I sent you.0

Wasn't Bill Albright repo-ing those. I believe his were made from brass and then chromed. Price was around $350.00 per pair. You could check with his grandson to see if they are going to continue to be offered. Check with Glen Johnson for re-chromed ones, I exchanged a set of cores with him when I bought mine off of him.0 -

At last year's Laughlin HET meet I purchased a nice pair of pork chops from Bill, I believe pork chops were brass and then chrome platted, they were a little heavier than original set Hudson used.0

I just got the pork chops from Bill 2 weeks ago. They are decent repros. I guess it all depends on how "perfect" you need them to be on your car. I think they will look great on my car. I paid $272 including shipping. If anyone wants pictures of them, shoot me an email and I will send. I still can't seem to get pictures to post on the forum.

Don,
What material are they made from?
By the way guys, thanks but the porkchops on e-bay are for a 48-51. Totally different from the 52-53.0 -
I think they are brass. Very heavy.0

I've got a set from the Twin-H ranch as well. If anybody wants them, you're welcome to them. $200.00 plus s/h (I paid $250). They're heavy brass. About 5-6 times the weight of the originals. Still brand new, haven't been on a car.0

Do you think the ones you are having made are going to be better than the brass ones you are sell? What are they being made out of?
