I'd strongly advise you join the Hudson-Essex-Terraplane Club, which provides a great clearinghouse of information (this Forum and the web chatroom, for example, are maintained through Club members). It's only $20 per year. You can learn more at the Club's website, http://www.hudsonclub.org/ . Additionally, you may wish to get involved with your nearest H-E-T chapter (chapters are listed at the main website), because you can then get help and advice on a local level from folks with other '51's.0

Hi the $20 membership is the best buy in the Hobby a lot of guys just out to keep Hudsons on the road NO JUDGING JUST A LOT OF FRIENDS

Also, try to get a copy of the Mechanical Procedure Manual for that year. This manual is comprehensive and will help you with fixing just about anything related to your Hudson.
