Anti seize vs loctite

I would use split washers on both w/ a dab of anti seize.0

I would only use a flat washer, with a split one. Unless the threads are messed up, that should be enough. If you feel better using loctite, DON"T USE "RED". That's for a permanent seal. You'd have to heat with a torch to break that bond. I use Permatex on the threads, and on the thermostat housing. I over apply, and trim the excess that oozes out off with an exacto-knife, after it dries. My 2 cents worth.0

Thanks guys,
Got the loctite PST for the anti seize, new bolts, flat and split washers. As for the Permatex, when I was a kid Permatex came in one or two flavors. Feel like I got a chemistry lesson trying to decide which one to use. Stuck with good ol Form-a-gasket. Anything better?0 -
