Need source for water temp sending unit

I need a Water Temp Sending Unit for my 54 308. Have looked at K-Gap, Kanter and my local Napa store. Nothing. Is there a source for these or a workable substitute?

Havent seen Daves, but I have put 4 on my Model A's and all seem to work fine. Check out Mikes model A site, easy to install but you may need a tube to put it in the upper radiator hose, with a fitting to screw the sensor into.

Will the sensor from Advance Auto Parts work in my 46 C 8-cylinder. I'd like to replace the one that's in there now.
