Need 36 Terraplane part

I need a door lock for a 36 Terraplane. Just the cylinder or lock assembly, not the handel. Although if you have a door handel with a good lock, I would be interested. The lock has a small dust cover that covers the key hole.

Any leads would be appreciated if you may know who may have one.

Scott, check with Tom Pett in the Chicago area. Info is in the roster. Tom has several '36 parts cars.

I have a '37 parts car. If the '36 has the same lock assembly I will pull one off for you. Please let me know.

If you contact the seller (who appears to run a lock shop) you might ask if he has a '36 in stock. You simply insert the key, file the discs down flush with the lock cylinder, you're in business.

I wish it were that easy, but once again the 1936 year was different. I don't know why there are tons of 37 parts but relatively few 36. The 36 has suicide doors and in 37 they went to the standard set up. Don't know why they had to keep changing the locks. Thanks for the input though, maybe someone will come up with a source.
