1938 Terraplane Transcontinental Speed Record?

Today in Hudson history I see reference to a 1938 Terraplane setting the Transcontinental speed record on todays date in 1937. I cannot find any reference to this online. Does anyone have a source or know the time?



I just want to have a little more info if anyone knows please post here. Thanks.

    Thanks to you both, I just was wanting more than the tidbit in the WTN's Calendar.



    Paul I looked in your Hudson Race Cars and saw great photo's but the newest one I saw was a '35 next to a top speed racer. Can you post the link? I will look through the rest of your photos just to make sure I did not miss it.
