Sedan Delivery

The Sedan Delivery has been on Ebay more than 24 hours and no one has made a comment about it. I did notice that it is listed in that famous "RARE" classification even with the fact that it was built in someones shop from a 4-door. I do have to say that this is a very classical way to stop folks from calling your car a "door-factory." I kinda like it and it would make a nice resto rod for a drive down Salt Lake City's new "In and Out Burger shop"

Used to be a sedan that was converted to a "Sedan Delivery", but utilized a deck lid in the rear, as opposed to the typical sedan Delivery door. Neat looking rod.0 -
I think it's got good lines, not all bulbous like most sedan deliveries of the day. Might not be too useful for hauling stuff with the trunk lid being as small as it is. Lumber maybe....0

Well, I might have to be corrected. Apparently the "Sedan Deliveries" from Hudson actually came with the deck lid stock! I was assuming that the "flower car" that Hostetler has in his museum was more typical of sedan deliveries, like other marques (like Ford). Apparently, in stock form, the passenger seat was not installed and you accessed the back area from the passenger door. Less practical, it seems, to me. Cool, and rare.0

I Like it , it would be great for my Window channeling business, as long as I could get 8' channeling to fit betwen the bucket seats and the trunk lid. All I need is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and my wife's permission. I can get the money, But..................0

The 1934 Sedan Deliveries (and probably the '35 too) came with a full-height, side-hinged door in the back. The Dayton Scale Company had a fleet of them. A photo was published years ago in the WTN.
Here ya go: only available in '34, I think:0 -
