defroster ducting

:rolleyes:I need to replace the defroster hose {ducting} on my '49 Hudson. It is 1 and 3/4 in diameter. I went to the local No Auto Parts Availabe and was told that size has been discontinued. So I called a couple other parts stores in town and the runny nosed kids had no idea what I wanted, even explaing the item, like drawing them a picture. Knowledgeable auto parts people are as scarce as a real mechanic any more. Any ideas where I can find the ducting. What I have found is two inch inside diameter. Thanks in advance. Arnie in Nevada.

I got mine at JC Whitney but there probably are other Suppliers too.0

Yeah NAPA used to carry it. I don't know why it was such a burden for them to leave ducting hose in their warehouse inventory but anyways there's suppliers online and in hemmings.0

I got mine at C&G Ford, an antique Ford parts supplier located here in Escondido, CA. They are online and have lots of stuff that fits our cars, both pre-war and post-war. Check them out online.0
