Fuel pump timing

I will be removing the fuel pump in my Hornet and would like to have the pressure on the pump arm minimized when I remove it. That will require that I know when the cam that drives the pump arm is at the lowest position. Does anyone know how that cam is timed relative to the valve timing? Can I look at the distibutor rotor position and know when the fuel pump cam is in the down position?
Thanks

Also to reinstall... It's not usually a very easy place to work....a couple longer pieces of allthread of the same thread size can help keep alignment.0
