It does have some useable parts....Automatic.. I think Hydramatic, No PS No PB. But does have twin H. Interesting to note is that it has the roof top antenna as opposed to the fender mount used later on in 54. I asked the seller if he had the serial number. perhaps I will someday determine when the switch of antennas was done. My ever running quest for trivia... The present price is close to it's worth.. LOL0

My Hollywood is an Oct 54 and had a Oct 53 parts car - both were fender mount. This being a borg car should put it in dec jan feb production.

Nick,
The 54 Hollywood I have been working on is also a October car. 318901. Was on the West Coast most of it's life. It came with the fender mount and the extra bracket welded into the fender area. No evidence that it had ever been apart and had factory paint on the bracket. So the bracket was there off the line. Looks like the fender would have had to be removed to install the antenna at the dealer level. Very unlikely I would think...I surmised that they reduced costs by relocateing the antenna. No doubt that dealer added radios would have been fender mounts. But not the long-deep mounting type. Can't imagine the dealers wanting to mess around with headliners or removing fenders! This is something I have been curious about for some time. I wonder if the cars that have the roof antenna had the bracket in the fender well? Maybe more 54 owners will come forward with more input. Inquiring minds need to know!:)0
