Can't set radio???
Hello, Don from Winnipeg Canada here. On my 52 Hornet, I can't set any of the radio stations, when I tune it into a station, I can't set the button, is the button supposed to pull out and then press back in to set? It doesn't want to pull out and I don't want to force it. Also I can only move the tuner from right to left. So I press the far right button and the needle goes to the far right and I tune back from there. I don't have an owners manual, so not sure what to do. If anyone has any ideas or a 52 owners manual they want to sell, pls let me know, Thx Don

To set Hudson radios on stations you like, pull the button out, turn dial to your station and push button back in, that locks it. If your buttons will not pull out the unit is frozen. Must come out and sent to a radio repair shop. Walt.Hello, Don from Winnipeg Canada here. To set the buttons on my 52, once I have the radio station I want , I have to uscrew the button untill it is out no pulling, then push it in and then turn the round button tight again.0

Round buttons were 48 to 50. 52-53 and 54 had flat buttons. 1st button turned the radio on and also shut it off. I had a '52 Hornet coupe and a '53 Hornet sedan years ago, both had the round buttons. I had been told my memory was bad (which it may be), but figured Hudson may have made a switch somewhere during the production year.

hetclub.org/burr - scroll down to 1933-1941_hudsonradiomanuals.pdf.
I'd love to get my hands on later - 1942-1954 and even 1955-1957 - manuals so I could put then on-line.
