Yah. I'm a little younger, but not much. I do remember watching Spike Jones on TV. Enjoyed the shows then but don't remember much about them now.

First night on forum.How can I not vote for Larrys commodore? If I could just find out where to vote. Fathers CB handle all those years was Commodore going to HET Nationals with his 50 Com. 6 conv. And besides my first name is Larry. I not only remember Spike Jones, Laurel and Hardy etc. but still find and enjoy his mussic today. Hudson Com. was anicer running Hudson made. Didnt win many drag races, but out ran other cars for top end most of the time. Had to get the Hornet out for dragging. Okay! Where do and how do I vote.0

Thanks boys, we're half way home. This goes on for the rest of the month. Let's not get weary in well doing, we're beatin the pants off the Pontiac....as we did on the tracks.
Right after I posted this, a box arrived on the porch from the website sponsor, full of goodies. 8x12 folder with congrats and a large pic of the car, a beefy Hanes Sta-bil shirt, a hat and 6 bottles of 104 Octane boost, stickers, Stop-leak, tire leak-stopper and inflator, A can of Garage Dogg cleaner and one of shield, Windshield washer concentrate, Window cleaner, starter fluid, and gasline antifreeze and injector cleaner. And when we win, there's another award worth I think $50.
You guys should submit a pic and a history of your car. Maybe it'll get picked to race against 3 other dogs and we'll beat em again.

Is something funny!!
The results, within a percentage or two, have been the same for the past week to week and a half. That would mean for all the votes the Hudson guys have been posting the Poncho guys would have to post the same number of votes. I am beginning to wonder if the contest sponsors are manipulating the results to keep the contest from being a run away.0 -
Nothing funny going on. But it's sad the hot rod has slipped to only 1%. It should be ahead of the GTO.
A Model A friend of mine said, "he was splitting his votes between the Model A and Larry's Hudson". Hasn't helped the Model A any.
