Where is your photo? I always love to post photo's of my car. Hope no one gets tired of them. This is the only one I can find with new paint and snow. I am moving along with the assembly and should have brightwork, ect., assembled early next week. Next is to hook up all the electricals and then start on the interior.0

Brownie,
I hate to admit it, but I can't figure out how to post a picture. Maybe I can have a friend of mine post one. Your car looks great, I hope to have my 36 truck finished up soon.0 -

Michael, Drive your Hudson only in the pure white snow, never in the yellow! LOL! Dee0 -
I am not sure at what point in my life I became timid about driving my cars in winter weather. As a young man going to college, I would drive my 51 coupe through one of the canyons here in northern Utah and "white-knuckle" it all the way. More than once I waited in a snow bank for a snow plow to come by so I could get home. Soon after I joined the HET Club we did a late fall tour and ended up in a snow/ice storm. When we got home the front of the car was caked in ice. It was 5 mph for the last ten miles before I got home. I tried hard to keep my cars clean and nice back in that day, but I never stayed home because of bad conditions. I try to get my cars out every week or so, but I look for dry days with dry roads. Perhaps next year I will drive up to one of the ski resorts, or out ice fishing and get a good "winter wonderland" picture. Just for fun, I am adding a photo of my 39 Hudson "Martz" custom on the day in Wyoming that I picked it up.0

Scott-
Yeah!! Man, I love that coupe. Nice pics.
Brownie-
'36 is really lookin' good. Very classy.
BadHudson-
I take it she's outside for the winter, then?0 -
Brownie, I like your "Hudson on the range" pic even better than a "Hudson in the barn" photo.
For my part, I realize that some folks cherish the time they spend cleaning and detailing their cars- but for me, that work is a monumental PITA. I go driving only on "bluebird" days, thank you very much, and I won't apologize for it. Love to get the old girl out for a run in the summer, but I check the weather report first.0 -

Brownee when I was living in Ogden there were still lots of unpaved roads. Fall, winter and spring were pretty much opportunites to get road grime all over the car... one particularlly heart pounding moment was when I was coming back from Eden on a down hill grade in winter, rounded the corner to see a plow coming from the opposite direction with the wing down and going full tilt.Took most of 3 hours to dig my self otta the snow bank I chose over an probable head on.

They paved "The Pass" that comes down from Eden--but it is still a one lane, hair raising, road that is now closed for most of the winter. It is hard to find a good dirt road anymore around here, but then again with the salt and sand they use on the snowy days they all seem like dirt roads.
Russell, that was the day I brought it home from the paint shop. She sits now in a heated shop with a cover over her when I am not working on her. My wife thinks the Hudson gets better treatment than she does. She might be right?0 -
Super looking paint Brownie, great pic !! Richie.0

Uncle Josh your looks as cold as mine, She is inside now for the winter, beside a chopped 51 merc in a plastic bubble.0

Another "snow shot" just for fun. This is my 38 Sedan. Took the photo about twenty minutes ago. The fog cleared and I grabed the old Brownie......0

No snow at the 'shoe (Ohio Stadium) 'cause the Buckeyes were collecting "Roses" in Pasadena! Go Bucks!

Brownie, I haven't seen snow that deep in the San Fernado Valley since 1949. I had a ball. I was six and my Dad helped me make a snow man. The snow man lasted about three days.

There are about 101 of them, including a few movie "brownies" in this case at the back of my shop. ETTO, I just grabbed one....0 -
