car show

Hi all, went to the car show on Saturday and Sunday flew the flag for us Hudson People

We arrived at arrived at 1/4 to 7 on Saturday morning and this time tried a 3rd route to the show as the previous years the motorway and the second way came up with 2 1/2 hour delays in getting in

This year we only had a forty minute delay on arrival but it was good to go through the front entrance as 1 of the cars being on display instead of being 1 of the spectators

By 2-30 in the afternoon I would estimate that there was 2000 -2500 thousand cars and 30-35000 people



the 1st picture (which isn't that good) is looking down to what we call the dust bowl which take all the over flow cars from the main fields

the second 1 is looking back towards the main fields and commercial display tents

It was hard to take pictures to give you an over view of the layout

there was only 1 Essex there which was a rat rod which was a 30 2 door sedan



I had a terrific feed back from people there especially people into model A's and that area of cars



Went back on Sunday and it was the same thing but over cast which was a good change from the previous day, went looking at the cars again and this time found a 27? coupe hot rod once again no step downs were to be had

we didn't stay as long (left at 1) as had had a late night at a friends Mothers 60th and was still a little bit lethargic from the previous night

Got lots of good feed back once again, most of the people were blown away on how clean and bright the yellow paint job looked and the amount of detail and time that had been put into the car

Had 1 of the US HET guard protector mats attached to one of the running boards for all to see



As you can see its a pretty laid back sort of affair
