looking for a plating company

has any one done bussiness with the company that has a ad in the wtn, the finishing touch, there in chicago. my plating company,paw paw plating has closed up after 60 to 75 years doing great work. hard to just send parts to someone new without getting a referrell. thanks

    Well they are of course expensive but the quality of work is there

    I've talked to them many times, had them re-plate 1 piece for me to check the quality. As Russ said, top quality work, top quality pricing. You get what you pay for, that's a fact. Recommended.

    They seem like nice people. I almost worked there but didn't pursue it. I've heard their quality is good. but they are not cheap!! A good shop will give you some kinda of warrantee on their work to re-plate if the chrome doesn't hold. Also you should document whatever you send to them before you send it.....that goes for any chrome shop.
