Thermostat question

Hi Don from Canada here. Just wondering if I can use a stock 1952 thermosat in my Hornet when I do the conversion by plugging the bypass and drilling a 1/8" hole in the plug? Or do I need a different stat? thx Don

    The stock therm. would not work because you would have the bypass circuit blocked. Go to an auto parts store and get a late style therm. that fits the therm. housing. A Stant # 29706 !60 degree is what I have used. Norm
