Ok guys, I am getting ready too put a twin H set up on my Jet, I have everything (I think) but the ait filters:( Is there any advice or secrects about the twin H I should know?? Do I just need too put a "T" in my fuel line or what?? Plus i have a Pinto fuel pump, will it have enough pressure for the 2 carbs?? Do I put a return spring on both carbs?? any help or advice would be appreciated!! Thanks!!:)

Your fuel pump should be more than adaquate. Usually the ouput from the pump goes to a "T" at the front carb , then a "U" shaped line goes to the rear carb. Maybe Jets are different? Yes use a return spring on both carbs. One carb should have a port down low on the carb to connect the distributor advance. make sure the other one is plugged.0

Ok what about the tube from the exhaust manifold to the automatic choke, what do I do for the other carb? tee off from it and run another tube too the other carb? And can i use the same heat sheilds used on the 1 carb setup??
Thanks, Barry smedley0 -
Boy, where are the jet people? I'm winging it here.. The stepdown twin H exhaust manifolds have two heat tubes. I have drilled the extra ones in maniflolds that have one tube. Then forced a 1/4' copper tube in and it works. I'm falrly sure your jet should have two tubes. If the carbs have the same bolt spacing, no reason why you couldn't use the heat shield. I wonder what the HP increase is. Let us know what the seat of the pants tells you.0

Barry, my Super Jet w/Twin H has twoports onthe exhaust manifold for the heat tubes to the choke thermostats. I suppose you could do as SuperDave says above - drill a 14" hole and force a 1/4" copper tube in and attach to the chokie t-stat

Here's a pic of Matt's Twin-H setup. And if you can't find the air filters, the second picture is Plan B.
Also, there's a complete linkage setup on craigslist right now for $175! http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/pts/1570142024.html
