    What do you mean "Rear axle bolt"? U-bolts, u-joint bolts? Or are you referring to the rear axle nut?

    hello geoff, the brain got it sooo close.."nut" in the title..but bolt slipped in the text...drat. yes, i do mean axle nut torque, thanks for catching that geoff and taking the time to ask what i meant. is 135 lb/ft. close? regards, tom

    If I was doing a job on a 35, I would not torque those axle nuts more than 100 to 110 foot pounds. I would also use a thread lock. Threads are worn and can strip easy. Walt.
