Mystery door handles

I am trying to ID some door handles which might be from an Essex. I have pasted a link to a photo of the handles. Can anyone help?

    Could be,they look similar(stylewise) to the dome light on my 30 Essex

    but don't match the handles. Then again the rumbleseat "T" handle

    on my Essex looks like a twin to the tailgate handle on my 57 Chevy

    wagon. I know,not much help...

    It's the wheat design on my handles that has me buffaloed. That seems so unusual, yet I keep striking out when I try to ID them.



    I appreciate your help. I sure wish there was a "handle bible" I could refer to!

    These are standard Hudson/Essex handles for 1929 models. Custom bodied Hudsons for '29 used Wild rose pattern.

    If you have a 30 Essex from the exterior door handle the rumble seat handle should match this as well and plus there isn't there usually have 2x screws that hold it on as well not enclosed in

    what year is your coupe?

    Is this the same coupe as twinH

    Thanks for the help! I am cleaning out my dad's barn, trying to make him a few bucks. He has a crateful of handles that I'll be peddling for him.

    I've been through the struggles of trying to find parts for a restoration project (I just finished a 1930 Marmon), so I know how important it can be to get these handles where they belong.

    Will you post some pictures of your restored 1930 Marmon. They are great looking cars. I saw one in a museum once. Don't know if it would be the same model as yours.



    That's great that you are helping out your Dad like that. I always appreciate it when my sons help me out.

    Here are before (7 years ago) and after (last fall) pictures of my'30 Marmon. It's a model 8-79.



    I can't WAIT for the weather to warm up so I can drive it!
