Dyno test

I was looking at Mike's post about the dyno test results on his Essex Coupe and the screen went blank. When I went to find the thread, it is gone.

    I keep telling myself not to get old but my mind won't listen and wonders.



    By chance Larry, did you make it to the March Meet races last weekend at Formosa. If you did how was it? A group of us had planned to go with a friend in his camper but at the last minute he, and everyone else, had to work and could not make it. We used to sneek in, back in the 50's and 60's rain or shine and camp out all three days.

    I didn't get a chance to go. I know I only live 20 or so miles from track but with my health lately I've been more stay at home. I remember group we ran into in 1959 - 61 time frame. They used to party hardy on the back of a hard rubber tired truck they called "Al's Big Rig".



    The things that stick with you for 50 years !! :)

    I remember the group at Al's Big Rig. Wasn't us, honest.



    Do you remember the Super Stockers raceing each other, in the pitch dark night with no lights, at the back part of the parking lot? We could not see them but you could sure hear those engines screaming as they were shifting through all 4 gears.



    I still have 8 rolls of home movies of the 1964 race. I've been meaning to have them put on video tape or CD for years. Just never got around to it. That was my last year going there. Back then, the raceing there was better then at the Winternationals.



    I don't remember if any Hudsons raced there back then, do you?
