You may remember this from the Albright corral in Pontiac last summer. Gus knows his Hudsons, so it's definitely built right. I've heard this one 'opened up', and it really sounds right. I'll BET it's fast!

Yeah I saw that car it's beautiful and you know Gus did it right so no doubt it gets up and goes. What he's asking for it does reflect the work that's in it, I'd pick it up if I could.

I am guessing--high end- well done, could go for as high as $45K?

I think it was 23 K if memory serves
  • Gus got the car from Bernies friend. He did a complete restoration as well as a drive train rebuild. When I spoke to Gus last year the car was for sale in the 30K range. This is the car that was offered on this BBS prior to Gus' purchase. Turn key car for the right buyer.

Is this the red & white 54 Hollywood that was in the swap meet area at Pontiac for the week, 12k or 14k as I recall? Or am I getting my Hollywoods mixed up?

different one. I'm wondering why the red and white one you are speaking of didn't sell. I didn't see it in person but looks like a decent deal for the money.

I've driven the car. Gus did a great job putting it back together. Where'd those damn lottery tickets go again?

That red/white 54 belonged to Tom Fink of the Orange Blossom Chapter. It didn't sell but I think he may have sold it later after returning to Fl. A decent car for the price..had air too..
