I finally finished installing the adpt. and had a local muffler shop finish the piping. I am really happy with the results, the duals coming out the back look great. The sound driving down the road brings back memories. There is a noticeable difference in acceleration now and I like that too. I am a very happy camper.

Looks good. Also, I like the paint color on your car.

    Richie,

Do you have a pic of the exhaust from underneath?
  • How about a pic of the engine compartment?

Dave here is what I have, two 2" pipes from the adpt into one 2 1/4" pipe that goes into my 2 1/4" Smitty, then after the rearend splits into two 2" tailpipes with chrome pencil-tips out the back. pics enclosed. Richie.

Craig, my engine compartment is nothing to look at, just a stock driver(except for the rad.) . See pic. Richie.
  • Richie's got SOUND, Thanks, Bob
  • Looks great Richie!
  • We located some exhaust manifold gasket material at O'Reilly Auto Parts, but the material has metal bonded between two temperature rated "cardboard looking" sheets. I had them check the temp rating, and they said it was rated for exhaust manifolds. List $15.24, Discounted $8.99, my sheet had a bad blemish on one side, so they discounted it $3. Cost me $5.99 plus tx and it is about 12 X 24 inches. Best we could find locally. Bob
