51 Convert sells at Amelia Island for 99K
I spoke to a buddy of mine who was at the Amelia Island auction. The 51 Hudson convert went for 99K. From what I was told, it wasn't even the best restoration.

:eek:Another "body off frame" restoration of a step down unibody. How did they do that? Arnie in Nevada.0

I do not know if this helps us or hurts us but I do think that we are looking at reality. I am only looking at the photo, but would love to have it in my shop--just do not have the 100K needed to play. By the way, the Albright folks have three of these and I would expect that any one of them would go for less than that. They do not do "frame off's on stepdowns" out West but I have seen all three cars and they get my heart racing....0
